This outstanding piece evokes Japan from the first time you see it thanks to its colour and shape. Top part is red glazed, bottom part is painted black. Thanks to its round shape and red colour this plate reminds us of japanese flag and the black colour is a symbol of black ink, which is in Japan traditionally used for writing.
